Luke Bugeja
CEO
MBA from Deakin University and Diploma in Tourism and Travel from William Angliss College (both in Melbourne). He has spent most of his career in aviation industry and airport infrastructure with operational, commercial, and financial experience in airlines, airports, and investment management. Most recently, he was an operating partner at Hermes GPE and was responsible for their transport investments. Previously, he held senior executive positions at OMERS (Ontario Municipal Employees Retirement System), Ontario Airport Investments and Macquarie Bank Limited/MAp Airport. Over a period of 14 years, he has held senior positions at Changi Airports International in Singapore and airports in London City, Brussels and Bristol. He has 16 years of experience in the airline business, having worked at Virgin Blue and Qantas Airways. In May 2021 he was named CEO of Ferrovial Airports.
Juan Bullón
Legal Director
Juan is responsible for all legal issues connected with the division’s activities, providing legal support for its acquisitions and divestments. He is also a board member of AGS Airports. Juan joined Ferrovial in 1997, as Legal Counsel for Ferrovial Construction. Since then, he has carried out several management positions in Cintra and Budimex, until 2007, when he became Legal Director for the Airports division. Juan holds a Law degree from Universidad Pontificia Comillas-ICADE and a Master’s degree in Law from the Catholic University of Leuven. He also holds an MBA from IE Business School.
Diana Chimienti
Human Resources Director
Diana is Human Resources Director, responsible for the Airports division’s human resources strategy and management. Diana joined Ferrovial Airports in 2023. For more than 20 years, she has held different positions in human resources. Her most recent roles include Group Head of Human Resources at Optiver and Global HR Director Commercial at AkzoNobel. Diana holds a bachelor’s degree in Business from Università di Pavia.
Kevin Cox
Chief Executive Officer of Ferrovial Vertiports
Kevin serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Ferrovial Vertiports. Prior to his appointment as CEO, Kevin has served in executive leadership positions at some of the largest and most complex organizations, including one of the busiest airports in the world—DFW International Airport; the largest Airline in the world—American Airlines; the largest FBO Network in the world—Signature Aviation; and one of the largest aviation marketing, distribution, and fueling companies in North America—EPIC Fuels. Kevin was an associate with the law firm of Strasburger and Price in Dallas, Texas. He received his B.A. with honors in Accounting from Oklahoma State University in 1985. He received his Juris Doctor from Southern Methodist University in 1988, was named to the Order of the Barristers, and served as an Associate Editor of the Southwestern Law Journal.
Shawn Kinder
global Corporate Development and Strategy Director
Shawn is global Corporate Development and Strategy Director at Ferrovial Airports, responsible for the Airport division growth. Shawn joined Ferrovial Airports in 2023. Before his appointment, he helped to build the aviation/airport financial advisory practice at Solomon Partners. He previously spent 19 years at aviation advisory firm Ricondo, working on several of the world’s largest infrastructure development and business planning efforts at airports such as Chicago O’Hare, Abu Dhabi, Manchester, Nairobi, and Keflavik, while advising investors and government agencies on transactions in the United States, United Kingdom, and Europe. Shawn earned undergraduate and graduate degrees from Purdue University and Northwestern University.
Laura López
Chief Financial Officer
Laura is CFO at Ferrovial Airports, responsible for economic and financial matters for the division and our airports. Laura joined Ferrovial Airports in 2023. She is also a member of the Audit and Control Committee of AGS Airports. Prior to her appointment, she was the CFO for Cintra in India. For nearly 20 years, she has held different positions in the Ferrovial Finance Department. Her most recent roles include Head of Financial Planning & Analysis and Head of Financial Compliance of the group. In 2019, she was appointed Project Manager and led the Business Transformation Office that delivered the new operating model committed by Ferrovial’s Horizon24 strategic plan. Laura holds a double degree in Law and Business Administration from the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (E-3 ICADE) in Madrid and completed a Global Management Program at ESADE.
Miguel Rodera
Asset Management Director
Miguel is responsible for helping monitor and manage business performance at Glasgow, Aberdeen, Southampton, and Dalaman airports, as well as FMM in Qatar. He joined Ferrovial Airports in 2022 as Head of Portfolio Management. He has over 20 years of experience in the aviation sector, having held several management positions at AENA. Miguel holds Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, an MBA from IE Business School, and an Executive PDI from ICEX.
