In compliance with article 82 of the Law on the Stock Market, GRUPO FERROVIAL S.A. hereby notifies the Comisión Nacional del Mercado de Valores of the following information which, in accordance with what is set out in Circular 14/1998, should be regarded as included under.

OTHER NOTIFICATIONS

A consortium led by CINTRA CONCESIONES DE INFRAESTRUCTURAS DE TRANSPORTE, S.A. has been awarded the contract for the design, construction, financing, operating and maintenance of the motorway that is to run through the Algarve in Portugal and is to be operated under the shadow toll regime (Scut).

This consortium is formed by CINTRA (71%) and FERROVIAL AGROMAN, S.A. (8%), while the remaining 21% is owned by a group of seven Portuguese construction firms, each of which has a 3% holding.

The motorway contracted is 127 km in length. Of this, 39 km are to be newly built, together with 17 km of link roads to join up with the rest of the highway network. The motorway will foreseeably come on stream at the end of the year 2002. This project represents an investment of over Ptas 38 million and the concession has a duration of thirty years. In addition, the construction of three service areas, two maintenance areas and a control center is planned.
